These lift trucks take a different skill set than the sit-down rider forklift. Our lift truck safety training provides a complete understanding of the operation of powered industrial vehicles. The video covers propane, gas and diesel Aerial Equipment. The safety videos and training were specifically created to comply with OSHA's Powered Industrial Truck Standards and ANSI Standards.

  Module 3: Safe Scissor Lift Operating Procedures
 
2. Discussion
  Read and discuss owners and operators responsibility.
  Visually identify all safety and warning labels and decals.
  Explain any additional principles not discussed in the prior videos that may pertain to customers location.
 
3. Test
  Fill-in the blank test based on the general aerial safety. Multiple choice test based upon the specific type of aerial equipment used (Scissor Lift).
 
4. Score Test
  While scoring test with the class we go over any missed questions.
 
5. Discussion
  Further discussion if needed based on testing.
 
6. Driving
  Optional: Instructors discretion
  (Students will drive a Scissor Lift to show their knowledge of the Scissor Lift training and safety. This demonstrates that student has acquired the skills needed for OSHA and ANSI compliance.)

Train The Trainer
At American Lift Training we offer courses that will train your employees with the skills to present the forklift safe operator program as required by OSHA. Feel confident that your trainers will complete this course with the knowledge needed to safely operate and train additional employees for up to three (3) years. After three (3) years, a refresher course is required to renew their status as a trainer.
